Shalom All: If you live in the Land right now, you really need to be in tune with the Ruach HaKodesh. You need to hear His voice when He says, “Go here,” or, “Don’t go there.” Bombs are going off anywhere and everywhere in the Land. Wicked ones want to destroy that which others have labored so long to build. Nevertheless, those who are led by the Father’s Holy Spirit can be kept safe. Ditto for the bomb blasts on this side of the pond. We can be kept safe. However, we need to realize that more blasts surely are coming our way, and we need to be as wise as serpents in regard to identifying our enemies. We also need to see that these type of bombings are now occurring on a spiritual level in the lives of many Believers. Spiritual bombs designed to sabotage the work of others are being detonated in places where one would not think they would experience a bomb blast. The people in the Jerusalem pizza parlor were innocently eating their lunch when all of a sudden lives were ripped apart. How many of us have been “munching on the Word” in what we thought was a safe place, when all of a sudden, lives were ripped apart? Shrapnel laden bombs were tossed, lie-filled explosives were lobbed, and suddenly, things were torn to shreds. How many Israelis have been innocently riding on a bus only to be hurt or cut off by the death wishes of a crazed enemy? How many Believers of late have felt they were innocently traveling down the highway of life only to be hurt or cut off by a demonically inspired enemy? The funny thing is, these crazy people seem to be eating the same things that we eat. They seem to be going in the same direction. Outwardly, they seem to be much like us. And then, wham! All of a sudden, they make your life painfully different. The Book of Revelation warns of a latter day wherein “the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him” (Rev 12:9). We also are told. “Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time” (Rev 12:12). At the very least the above described day is close at hand. If so, if the campaign against us has been speeded up so to speak, then we must understand that the enemy of our souls is now working harder to disguise himself as he works his wiles against us. We must realize that, “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light” (2 Cor 11:14). We need to pray for the gift of discernment, friends. Our enemies are better dressed now. They look nice. They work at appearing to be well mannered. But make no mistake, they are enemies of your soul. These enemies may appear to be “anointed,” but instead are false prophets. Sometimes they even show signs and wonders, but all is done in order to lead astray, if possible, the very elect. These puffed up dreamers often sent as a type of “test,” to see if we will be faithful to our God (Mark 13:22; Deuteronomy 13:3). The chosen. Tested. Led astray. The redeemed of the Lord going down a wrong path. That’s scary. Believers are warned in 2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 that, prior to the man of lawlessness being revealed, they will see a certain “apostasy” among formerly faithful ones. Surely there is an apostasy in the church system. There are those who preach from pulpits yet do not believe the Tomb was empty. They do not believe in a divine Redeemer, nor in the Sabbath or the feasts. However, a new and different type of apostasy is on the rise. We see it in those who believe that all things Jewish are “better.” They become so jealous of being “Jewish” that in order to gain acceptance, they deny the deity of Messiah Yeshua and convert to Judaism. These people often feel they clearly see the apostasy of the failed ones in the church, but they are blinded to the apostasy being worked into their own lives. They cannot see that they are walking away from their first love (Rev 2:4). They are so infatuated with the written Torah that they can no longer see the benefits that come from the wounded hands of He who is the Living Torah. Those who lead people in this direction also are blinded. So do not be deceived by them, because when the bus blows up, they will die along with all the rest. We need to beware. Our very lives are at stake: both in our fleeting physical lives here on earth, and more importantly, at stake is our life in the Olam Haba, the Eternal World to Come. We need to seriously pray for the gift of discernment. We need to ask the Father to train our senses by His Ruach, to help us learn to “discern good and evil” (Heb 5:14). Angels of light, friends. Well dressed. Polished. Learned. They seem to eat what we eat. They seem to be going in the same direction. But death and the destruction of others is what is in their hearts. Beware. Pray. If you will do that, all will be well with your soul. Berechot, |
