Shalom All, I just found an interesting site on the web where you can look up the Torah and Haphtarah Portions for your birth date. If you go there and choose the day, month and year of your birth, you will see what Portions were read on the day you were born. Check it out here: http://bible.ort.org/books/cald5.asp Hanukkah begins this Erev Shabbat, so we have a double blessing: Shabbat and the first night of Hanukkah. As you light the candles on your Hanukkia, please pray that the true Light of the World, Messiah Yeshua, would shine on all Israel.
