Author’s Sketch

Atlas Laster received a doctorate (Ph.D.) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976, and has over 28 years of postdoctoral experience as consultant, clinician, and educator in various professional settings. He has been a staff member and adjunct faculty member at three major universities, worked as a psychologist in mental health agencies, and consulted for state agencies in Missouri, Illinois, Washington, and Georgia. He has written and published several articles on the subjects of religion, psychology, and disabilities services. Dr. Laster currently holds national board certification as Diplomate/Senior Disability Analyst. His biographical sketch has been included in several editions of Marquis Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the Midwest, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
