These are the opening lines of John Hully's forthcoming book, What is the Messiah Waiting For? One of the primary points John makes in his book is, the Messiah will not return until Ephriam returns to the land and takes his place alongside Judah. He further points out that many of the unfulfilled prophecies in the Scripture can only be fulfilled by Ephraim; and that the prophecies Peter speaks of in Acts 3:21 must be fulfilled before Messiah Yeshua returns. Further John makes the case that Judah alone cannot represent all Israel. Is John correct in these conclusions? If he is, then this book needs to be published and made available. It needs to become another potent weapon in our arsenal, which we will use to win a 6000 year long "War of Words." Winning our battles in this war requires that we be able to detect and deflect Satan's false words. We can all be proud of our accomplishments in 2004. Working together we added two extremely important books to our arsenal: Mama's Torah: The Role of Women by Batya, and Return to the Land: An Ephraimites Journey Home by Ephraim Frank. However, we hope 2005 will be our best year yet. We have recently completed an agreement with Ingram Book Group (through its subsidiary Spring Arbor, they are the largest Christian Book Distributor ) to carry Key of David Books. This is in addition to Appalachian Distributors, the third largest distributor. We also are working to secure additional distributors. Furthermore we hope to be at an International Booksellers Convention in Denver next summer. These distributors are in addition to the backbone of our distribution system: Messianic Believers. We feel that unlike any prior year, 2005 will be a year of opportunities for us to win battles in this war . However, to take advantage of these opportunities, we need to fully utilize the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of YHVH, for it is the weapon of our warfare (Ephesians 6:17). How are we to use this Sword? I am reminded of an observation made by one of my grandfathers, Jonathan Edwards. Speaking of getting God's Word to the people, he wrote in his book, Some Thoughts concerning the Present Revival (New England Great Awakening 1740-1743): "They ought indeed to be thorough in preaching the word of God, without mincing the matter at all; in handling the sword of the Spirit, as the ministers of the Lord of hosts, they ought not to be mild and gentle; they are not to be gentle and moderate in searching and awakening the conscience, but should be sons of thunder. The word of God, which is in itself sharper than any two-edged sword, ought not to be sheathed by its ministers, but so used that its sharp edges may have there full effect, even to the dividing asunder soul and spirit, joints and marrow." We are ministers of the Lord of Hosts, and it time for us to unsheathe our swords, to become sons of thunder, and to take every action available to us to get the undivided word of truth into the hands of all Israel! You can help by continuing to make full use of our present books: Who Is Israel? Past Present and Future; Israel's Feasts and their Fullness; Restoring Israel's Kingdom, Ephraim and Judah: Israel Revealed, plus our other effective books. Distributing a ten-pack of any of these books can cause ripples of change in the hearts, minds, and spirits of men and women, and only the Father can measure their eternal effect. Financial support is also a key way for you to help. Publishing Hulley's book alone calls for $20,000 effort. And his is not the only book on our "hope-filled" calendar for 2005. Most of our foundational books will soon be out of stock and need to be reprinted. So, I ask you to not only unsheathe your sword, but to open your hearts and pocketbooks and include Key of David in your end-of-the-year giving. We appreciate you, and thank you for your consideration and contribution to this important work. Teshuw'ah (Victory) b' Yeshua, |
