Shalom dear friends, The beginning of the Fall Feasts is a time of celebration and a time of introspection. The alarm is to awaken our spirits. It is to revitalize our walk with the Elohim of Israel. It is to draw us deeper into a personal relationship with Messiah Y’shua. The Living Word is to be just that alive! Over the next ten days, between Trumpets and the Day of Atonement, we will examine our walk. From the little nuances to the major choices we make each day our walk is to be straight towards Him. This is difficult at this hour. There are so many distractions yet He says we are to have not other God in our lives. The choice is ours - where will we spend our time and resources? If you want to know what is truly important to someone look at what they do, not what they say. There are many who quote the truth but do not make the hard choices to walk uprightly before Yahweh. It is simply a matter of choice, day by day. Take these next ten days to take an honest look at where you invest your time and resources. Write it down and make it plain. Seek His face on where He wants you to invest the talents He has bestowed upon you and if you see that changes are needed make them now. Tonight we will rejoice because He is indeed calling His bride. The silver trumpets will sound, calling the people and the leaders together (Numbers 10). The whole House of Israel is being established at this hour. This year, our prayer is that more would hear and that they would respond. May His people hear the call of the twin trumpets and be stirred deep within their souls. May this stirring lead to action and the action lead to the re-gathering of all of Israel. May your sounding of the trumpet not be in vain. Understand that it is not about the trumpet but about the One who gives us the breath to blow. The question is after you hear the trumpet what will you do? Will it be another momentary spiritual high or a life changing event. Will the days after the sounding be significant or will we go about our business as before? On behalf of the leadership team of the MIA, I pray that this Feast of Trumpets will be like no other you have experienced. This may be your first year to celebrate His feast or perhaps you have done so all your life. In either case, may this year be truly significant in your home and community. May you have a blessed Yom Teruah. For the restoration of all things, |
