![]() Call the MIA to see how you can support Shefa For those who would like to read an overview of this project please visit our Shefa web site at www.messianicisrael.com/shefa. “Shana tova ve gmar chatima tova!” May you have a Good New Year and may you finish it with a good inscription in the Lamb’s book of Life. It seems like just the other day that we had the privilege of meeting you all at the reunion in Tennessee! Rina and I want to thank you all, the House of Ephraim, for the important part that you all played in helping us see the beginning if the fulfillment of Abba’s vision that He planted in our hearts so many years ago. At the end of October 2006, thanks to the blessing that you have been, Shefa becomes a reality. We move onto the Land – Hallelujah! Work will start immediately for the planning and preparation of the farm layout and the construction of the ‘bridge’ that will you to experience life in Israel before you come ‘home’ permanently. At this time we are very excited and with renewed strength. The waiting and the suffering we had to endure at the hands of our secular brothers and the extreme conditions here in the Land for the last ten years fade into obscurity in the light of the part Abba has given us to help in the fulfillment of His prophecies. This is a time when we feel that although the past years have been tough, we are not to harbor any animosity or un-forgiveness against our brothers. After all Abba is in total control. When we travel on life’s detours, as people, we do not always realize that we are in fact on His highway. The month of October will see us packing up and having to down size by a third! Although we already live in a small house, we are moving to an even smaller one! Abba will give grace! We will be living in a mobile home which is clean and we hope will be comfortable. Once the move is complete we will start to post up to date pictures of the progress at Shefa. The month of November we see us planning for the vines and the dates. There are already some date trees at the site and we will be helping Blossoming Rose to improve and enlarge the date plantation. The irrigation system will need to be automated, both for the grapes, the dates and the future olive grove. In December we will be ordering our vines for delivery in April. We need to pay deposits at this time and the amount of finance available will determine the area that will be planted initially. Preparation of the field should start in February to be ready for planting in April. We will advise dates as to when we need volunteer help in December so that prospective helpers can plan in time.
