Dear Friends and Family,
I thank you on behalf of my family for your prayers during our recent ordeal.  Tangling with an 18 wheeler is not a pleasant experience.  However, we miraculously survived! Nine passengers were in our van and one driver in the truck. My son Aaron (age 9) suffered the only serious damage (broken leg and cut up face) but he will be fine in a few months. Please continue to pray for my wife, Jane, as this has been especially difficult from a mother’s viewpoint, plus she has a cracked rib, some severe bruising and aches.  She greatly appreciates the larger family we have in the MIA.

It is at times like this that I can truly appreciate being part of a local assembly and the MIA.  It was obvious on too many details to mention here that people were praying and that He was at work on or behalf. That I even can sit here today and type this note is a miracle as we were inches away from being overrun by the truck. YHWH is awesome!

On a more positive note we arrived back in Tennessee two days prior to my daughter Sarah’s wedding to Khale Lenhart (son of Terry and Crystal Lenhart). Many of our local brethren rallied to our side and the wedding went off beautifully. We celebrated life in our home this past Tuesday night and it was good!

Hale and Shelly Harris along with most of their family were here for the wedding as Hale conducted the ceremony.  They are doing well.  The fire at their business destroyed many things but not their joy and sense of humor. We had a splendid time together and please know that the Harris’ also greatly appreciate your prayers and support.  They will be rebuilding their business in a few months but for now are sorting through all of the red tape involved. Pray for a speedy conclusion of this matter so they can move forward.

May you all have a blessed and safe week – and thanks so much for your support!
