Key of David Publishing has been added to Spring Arbor’s book list (Ingram Book Religious Book Distributor); they are the number one Religious Book Distributor in the country. In addition, our books continue to be offered through Appalachian Distributors, the number three Religious Book Distributor.
We are excited about the potential of truly increasing our distribution network, but please note that these companies are “distributors.” That means, that they are not salesmen! For example, Coke has its products in virtually every grocery store, but it is the Coke Cola Company who advertizes and sells Coke. The grocery store simply distributes it to interested buyers.
Similarly we of Messianic Israel are the ones who need to “sell” (persuade others of the merits of our view or position) our books. And that means we have a big job before us. And I mean a really big job!
In talking with various staff members at Ingram I was amazed at their lack of knowledge about the Messianic Movement. One of them commented to me that we were their first “Jewish Book publisher.” I told him that we were not “Jewish,” and I asked if he had heard about the Messianic Israel Movement. He answered, “No.” I then asked if he had every heard of the Messianic Jewish Movement. An he answered “No.”
There are some 6500 Christian Book Stores in the United States. If these same questions were asked of them would their answer be the same? Unfortunately, I tend to believe that they too are largely unaware of the Messianic Movement.
Paul, who may be one of the greatest salesmen of all time, asked the question, “How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a messenger?” (Romans 10:14).
We who see ourselves as part of the nation of Israel as described in the First Covenant, and who see our mission to help restore our nation, plus “the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints,” are the ones to whom Our Father is looking at this moment (Jude 3). We are His messengers in this last hour, and each of us need to do all that we can do to help our people regain their nationhood.
How can you be a messenger? The following suggestions can help you maximize your potential:
- Like any salesman you need to know your product. This will help you to most effectively present to people why they should believe as you do. To aid you in obtaining product knowledge you should have read, and have in your library, the following four Key of David books:

- Once you have product knowledge and a well stocked library, you need to encourage others to follow in your footsteps. You can do this by walking, talking and telling the truth. Giving or lending books is an excellent way to get the word out. And, some excellent prospects are the folks at your local Christian and Church bookstores. They need to have these books in stock! Give, or lend them a book, answer their questions, and let them know that books are available through Spring Arbor and Appalachian Distributors.

- Advertising is the engine that drives our economy. We now have the opportunity to advertize in both Spring Arbor’s and Appalachian’s magazines that are sent to the bookstores. But, as we all well know, advertizing cost money. For example the back cover of Christian Advance. Spring Arbor’s bimonthly magazine is $2500. Imagine the impact of having an ad for three or six issues. The, folks at Ingram and the bookstores would know the Messianic Movement existed.
Imagine the impact of sending a copy of Mama’s Torah: The Role of Women, and/or Ephraim and Judah: Israel Revealed, to a hundred bookstores, a thousand, even all six-thousand-five-hundred bookstores.
Imagine if you gave out one copy of these two books, five copies, even ten. And what if the people you gave them to followed your lead, and they gave out books, and those people gave out books. Imagine!
