We are at war and at AMI 2003 we took a significant step on the path to victory!

I felt the presence of the Ruach HaKodesh orchestrating the flow of our gathering with times of blessing to refresh us, times of teaching to better prepare us for the on-going battle. We even had a small reminder that our adversary is still alive and well, but we immediately came together as a team, and what could have resulted in a problem soon became a healed and forgotten pimple on an otherwise handsome face of progress.

The high point for me was the fellowship. I believe that the edification that came from mutual sharing with one another was an encouragement to all of us. It also helped all of us to realize that we are not alone but part of a team.

What a great blessing!

I wish I could have spent an hour with each fellow Israelite and that I could have gotten to know each one of you better.

Maybe that is what eternity is all about: forging the relationship with one another that Yeshua and the Father have.

Well, we can take satisfaction the we at least made great strides towards that goal at AMI 2003.

I look forward to the day when the annual AMI Conference will be in Jerusalem. What a message that will send to the world!

AMI 2003 was by far our best gathering yet!

We were personally blessed in many ways as the Holy One moved among His people.

The Young Messianic Israel Alliance were our hosts and a fine job they did!

Our worship team was mostly comprised of worship leaders who had come together from all over the country and were singing together for the first time, yet they melded together beautifully and led us into holy places.

The dance team was wonderful. At different times they were gentle, sweet, and worshipful, but they also made a dramatic prophetic statement about Ezekiel’s dry bones that was awesome to see. Each dance was uplifting and inspiring.

The banners for the twelve tribes were priceless. It brought joy just to look at them.

If I had to try to define our greatest blessing from the gathering I would say that it is the fact that we were able to say "I'm Messianic, Spirit-filled, and I'm OK."

We boldly declared that it does not have to be either/or, but that we can have both.

We had both and it was wonderful.

We had an anointed Torah Service, and we had singing in the Spirit. We had Shabbat and Havdallah celebrations, and we had people anointed with oil for healing.

We had an awesome time of laying on of hands for some new ministers of the gospel (this was my favorite time. I felt the Spirit was so strongly present and that the Father was very pleased with the fruit that was being offered to Him).

We had a beautiful Jerusalem Marketplace that was opened with a prayer of dedication and filled with people who were ready to serve.

We had concerts, strolling minstrels, worship, and lots of awesome teachers.

Most important, we had unity of purpose. No one jockeyed for position, no one sought to be exalted, but all asked about how they could best serve.

The event was well attended and was the best gathering we have had so far.

We were blessed with a team that worked together.

We really wish all of you could have been there.

That would have made the meeting even better!

Shabbat Shalom,
Batya
