This is what YHVH, the One who is our Creator and King, the One who makes a way for us, says...

Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.
Do not call them to mind nor ponder them.
Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
Hear Me as I call unto you My children, “I am now making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”
(See Isaiah 43:16-19.)

Long ago the Father made a promise concerning the wayward children of Ephraim: “Behold, I will allure her, bring her into the wilderness and speak kindly to her” (Hosea 2:14).

YHVH said He would bring scattered Ephraim into a “wilderness,” and there, He would minister to her in kindness. Through the prophet Ezekiel He revealed something more of this divinely decreed desert experience. He said of the children of Israel: “I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face” (Ezekiel 20:35).

In this verse we can see the “wilderness” as a type of “desert.” In it, we find a sea of faces. There are people everywhere, but there is no water, no wine. There is not a drop to drink. There is no refreshing. No one seems to understand or care about the good things the Holy One is showing us in His Word.

We find ourselves surrounded by a sea of people, yet we feel lost, alone in a desert place.

Many of us can relate to this scenario. Although we have felt completely alone, we cannot walk away from what the Father has whispered to us. When we hear His voice we must obey. In the desert we learn faithfulness to our Heavenly Father. In spiritually dry places we learn directly from Him. We come face to face with Him and thus grow in grace.

Another way we can view this Ezekiel verse is to see the Hebrew word for wilderness, midbar, as a type of pasture. We also can see the word for people, or am, as being the true people of the Holy One. They are those who are responding to His call to come out and be separate. They are those who hear the Father’s heart cry—who realize that He is now in the process of separating unto Himself, and thus restoring His Holy Nation.

If you feel like you have been in a wasteland and are thirsty for streams of living water, we invite you to join us for our Fifth annual AMI conference in Orlando.

We are not looking to have just another conference. While we do not pretend to be a perfect people, we are nevertheless a people with a vision. We have heard the Father calling us to work toward the “Restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21). And we have dedicated ourselves to that call.

If you want both Yeshua and Torah, both Spirit and Truth, we want you to be with us.

At the very least, please join us in prayer for a special outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh.
