A Plea from Hispanic Ephraim - Remove the Language Barrier Print E-mail

I have received a lot of letters in my life, but none have had the potential impact of the letter I just received from Margelit Lopez, of Israel Mesianico Congregation in Puebla, Mexico.

Margelit, who first contacted Batya and I in 2005, opened her letter with “Shalom Brother Angus Wootten:” However, the letter was not just to me, it is to every English-speaking Ephraimite.

I am writing to you from Mexico to thank you, because Latin America has been blessed by Abba through the revelations given by the Ruach HaKodesh to your ministry and which have reached our hands through the books by you and your wife, the Kadosh sister Batya Wootten.

Just as I have experienced it, I want to tell you that the rest of Hispanic Ephraim to which I belong can also be blessed in the same way by receiving from the MIA the message of reconciliation that you both head up; this is very promising given that the Spanish-speaking Ephraim is much larger than can be imagined from a casual look; presently, there are 407,759,450 persons sharing the same language. Imagine how many Ephraimites are potentially among them?

Margalit’s eight page letter outlined her perspective on the challenges facing Hispanic Ephraim, and her pleas for help from the MIA in removing the language barrier. She had two primary pleas. The first plea was that books by Batya and Angus must be made available in Spanish. Not only print them in Spanish, but let the multitude of Spanish-speaking Ephraim who are silently waking up know that they are available. And not only books, but all the materials, including a website, that the MIA has made available to English-speaking Ephraim, needs to be made available to Hispanic Ephraim so they may know their mission, heritage and purpose.

Her second plea was to be able to attend the upcoming conference at St Louis without a language barrier. Margalit clearly sees, as she puts it:

The winds that Hosea predicted are carrying the cloud to St. Louis! I am rising up; I heard the call: "the cloud is moving, it is moving" and I do not want that either my people or I would be left behind?

Allow us, Angus Wootten, to experience the Ruach HaKodesh with you all; this is a moment in which your Hispanic brothers that are waking up are going through their season of need; Latin America also has to be taken to the feet of our Elohim for repentance of all the past deeds that have occurred here: from the acts of his youth out of order with the Torah, just as announced by Jeremiah.

If you allow me, I would like to take a flag in the midst of you that would represent all those brothers that are the people of Israel, "the potential Ephraim", so that they also would enter symbolically through the arch of the West, symbolizing that the punishment that also is accorded to us is about to end.

I want to go forth bearing a flag of the Spanish-speaking Ephraim, as a sister of my Hispanic Ephraimites to help others reach their inheritance, which follows the example given by the ancient watchmen in an important time of history, who helped their other brothers of the other tribes become established in their land; until they all obtained their inheritance, they did not rest.

Fulfilling her second plea requires that the MIA would offer Spanish translations at the general sessions of the Conference, and at key workshops.

Several times in her letter Margalit expresses that I was the one that was capable of removing the language barrier:

In the Name of Messiah Y'shua I ask you, Brother Angus Wootten, that you allow us to listen and learn in SPANISH that we may all go together in the same understanding without anyone lagging (behind), that no one stay (left) behind the Cloud for not understanding the language, to advance together with you all in a shared Commission, each one in his function, with the understanding of the responsibility that these times demand of us, in one accord.

Before I went back and let Margalit know that she was undoubtedly overestimating my influence and capabilities, I felt that I should pray. The answer that I felt that I received from the Father was, “Remember the Good Samaritan, he did what he could do. You do what you can do. You do the possible, I will handle the impossible.”

My first step following this Word was to share Margalit’s letter with Scott Diffenderfer, CEO of the MIA. As a result the Conference in St Louis will be providing Spanish translations of the main sessions to attendees from three new MIA member congregations from Mexico: Israel Mesianico, Beit Ephraim, and Ministerio. Hopefully other Spanish-speaking Ephraimites will attend when they learn that the language barrier has been removed.

Margalit and her group will have the opportunity to march eastward through the arch waving a flag for Hispanic Ephraim. Hopefully, you too will be there to march with our Hispanic brothers and sisters.

So one of Margalit’s pleas, translation at the conference is being successfully answered. The cost of this will run several thousand dollars. Fulfilling the plea for books and materials in Spanish will be far more costly, tens of thousands of dollars. I pass on to you Margalit’s letter, and ask that you read it. If you feel led to be a Good Samaritan and help heal the problems of the language barrier by removing it, I ask you to help in several ways. Pray without ceasing that Key of David Publishing obtains the needed Spanish translators, people who will reach out to Hispanic Ephraim when books and materials in Spanish are available, and the resources to accomplish the printing, advertising and effective distribution.

Hopefully, I and those of you who will also be attending the conference in St Louis, will be able to tell Margalit, and our brethren from Mexico, when we meet with them, that Key of David, as a first step in removing the language barrier, has initiated a project to translate the Trilogy (Redeemed Israel - Reunited and Restored, Israel Feasts and their Fullness - Expanded Edition, and Restoring Israel’s Kingdom), into Spanish. I cannot give this good report without your help! I ask you to do as I did, seek the Father for what He would have you do in the way of supporting the efforts to meet their plea. If the leading you receive is to help financially, you may make a contribution to this worthy cause online at Partner, Key of David (Batya and Angus) Donation, or by mail to Key of David Publishing, PO Box 700217, St Cloud, FL 34770. Feel free to call me at 407 344-7700.

Be blessed and encouraged,
Angus
