Shalom All:
We are greatly encouraged about the upcoming AMI Conference! We have noticed several things about this event that sets it apart from any other.

  • We sense a spirit of unity that is beyond anything we have known. Those who are coming are of one accord and want to move on with the Holy One.
  • Additionally, we have never heard so many speak of having such a great sense of expectation — they are hungry and yet have hearts full of faith.
  • On the other hand, we have never seen so much testing among strong Believers.

For example, our friend, Susan, had a very serious and as yet undetermined type of “stroke.” It happened in a restaurant, and as she lay on the floor a life-threatening state, the only words they could barely hear her speak were, “Choose life.”

Visibly shaken and concerned about her friend, Susan’s friend and business partner, Elizabeth, could only speak loud words, and they came forth with incredible authority. “No! You foul spirit! I rebuke you! You will not take Susan!”

The enemy did not get Susan, but she still needs our prayers for strength and complete healing. Susan and Elizabeth own High Places Bookstore in Boulder, CO. You can find their store at www.high-places.com or you can email them a word of encouragement at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

Another friend who is undergoing great trials is Mary Hyams, who owns Manna Gifts in Orange, CA. Mary has been working hard to get new tribal banners ready for the conference. The added work load has aggravated an old knee problem. Her helper, Robin Morgan, was diligently sewing away and suddenly found that she had uterine cancer. Robin needs to be healed and comforted at this time. You can contact both her and Mary through the MIA Production Manager, Kip Hyams.

The good news is that the banners are almost finished and the anointing on them is said to be refreshing! People report that they feel a sense of joyous restoration when they look at them.

They will be presented on Friday night, and we pray a spirit of refreshing will be upon all who are present as they are unveiled.

Here at the home office we are experiencing an onslaught of the now infamous and obnoxious viruses and worms that are inundating the internet. In the midst of all that we have to do to get ready for the conference we also are having to deal with hundreds of infested emails every day.

If you receive an email from any of our addresses that has an attachment, do not open it. We do not send attachments. Many of our friends are telling us of the incredible battles they are going through. Among the challenges: serious financial problems, health problems, family and business difficulties. But we know that the God of Israel never slumbers or sleeps, and He is bigger than all the problems the enemy throws against His people. The problems are only making people more determined than ever to come. They all want a time of refreshing—at any cost.

We are writing to ask you to pray for the windows of heaven to be opened for those who are making their way to AMI 2003. We are honestly hoping for something that will be so much more than just another conference. We want to be in the presence of our God. And if you feel the same way, we want you to be there with us.

We have asked friend and prayer coordinator, Shoshana Swedlund, to lead us in prayer concerning these things.

You can read more about Shoshana and her prayer team at: http://www.messianicisrael.com/Prayer.shtml Yahveh Elohim, we pray in the name of Yeshua haMashiach, the Name above all names.

Abba, we bring before You all those who are participating in any way in the AMI 2003 Conference. You see and know each person by name. You have called them from the north, south, east and west to gather together as Your whole House of Israel.

Abba, many are struggling to be able to get there. Their hearts are to be obedient to Your calling, but the enemy has put up strong resistance. We rise up as the corporate body to stand in the gap for all of these who need help. You see and know what each person and family is dealing with, what they are battling. We know that because of the intensity with which the enemy is fighting, that You are going to move mightily by Your Ruach, Your Spirit at this conference. Your people Israel are coming to worship You, to love You, to learn of Your ways and Your commandments. Truth will come forth that will set the captives free. Prayer will go forth to heal bodies and souls. Your Name will be lifted up and glorified. We are coming to Seek Your Face, Yahveh. We will not be prevented from entering into this time. We will stand strong against the onslaughts of the enemy. You have given us weapons of warfare and trained our hands for war. There is war in the heavenlies to try to stop the restoration of the reunion of all of Israel. We will be victorious! No weapon that is formed against us will prosper. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We put on the full armor that You have given us so that we are able to stand firm against the schemes of hasatan. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We have on all of the armor and we take up the shield of faith with which we extinguish all the fiery missiles of the evil one, and we use the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of Elohim. Greater is He who is in us than He who is in the world. Yahveh answers us in the day of trouble. The name of Elohim of Yaacov sets us securely on high! He sends us help from the sanctuary and supports us from Tziyon! (Ps. 20) Yahveh is our light and our salvation; whom shall we fear? Yahveh is the defense of our lives; whom shall we dread? Though a host encamp against us, our hearts will not fear; Though war rise against us, in spite of this we shall be confident. (Ps. 27) Blessed be Yahveh, because He has heard the voices of our supplications. Yahveh is our strength and our shield; Our hearts trust in Him and we are helped; therefore our hearts exult, and with our songs we shall thank Him. Yahveh is our strength , and He is the saving defense to His anointed. Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance; be our shepherd also, and carry us forever. (Ps. 28)

You are our King, O Elohim. You command victories for the children of Yaacov. Through You we will push back our adversaries. Through Your name we will trample down those who rise up against us. For we will not trust in our bows, nor will our swords save us. But You have put to shame those who hate us. In Yahveh we have boasted all day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. (Ps. 44)

Abba, thank You for Your Word that is our defense and our shield. We thank You for victory.

Amein
