There are many similarities between a sukkah and a chuppa. Both are temporary, decorated with boughs, have support poles, used for specific occasions, and have great significance in the restoration of all things. You see, His people will not dwell in the sukkah with Y'shua until they stand with Him under the chuppa. In many ways the sukkah is an expanded chuppa which signifies moving from an individual celebration to a national time of rejoicing. Our individual walk with Y'shua will culminate under the chuppa when we are prepared to be His spotless Bride. Only then will we tabernacle with the King of Kings as a family forever.

It is with this understanding that we have focused our family reunion in Orlando, Ami Dodi, completely around the Hebraic wedding customs. We desire to be a people prepared for His return.
