Join Us In Nashville This December

Dear Friends,
We are looking forward to gathering once again with you in Nashville on December 26. I believe our Reunion will be a dramatic step forward in the lives of YHVH's people Israel.

One of the events we are planning is a marriage rededication ceremony.

Since I have received several questions about this event, I want to provide some needed details for your planning purposes.

We truly want to make this a special time for the participants. The marriage rededication will be a worshipful time as you strengthen your marriage by renewing your commitment to your spouse. Perhaps you were married before you came to know Y’shua. Some may have had a difficult time in their relationship lately and desire a fresh start. Others may simply want to draw closer to one another in the coming years. Whatever your motivation for participating we know that you will walk away stronger than you came.

Sunday afternoon at 3:30, my wife, Jane, and I will conduct a workshop for those who plan to take part in the re-dedication ceremony. We will discuss the marriage covenant, the wedding canopy, and the husband and wife roles in a Scriptural marriage. We will also discuss the ceremony itself and have a time of prayer. Hale Harris will join us to present a brief overview of the mikveh (immersion) as an outward expression of an inner motivation to renew and cleanse.

At 4:30, we will have a voluntary mikveh (immersion/baptism) service in the indoor pool at the hotel. Hale and I will lead that service as couples enter into the water together and come out renewed, strengthened, and cleansed. This too will be a special time and an anointed occasion.

Later that evening the rededication ceremony will be in the ballroom and presided over by Angus and Batya Wootten. You and your spouse will have a few minutes under the chuppa together to exchange your renewal vows.

We will offer a small Dedication paper based on the ketubah (written marriage promise) for both of you to sign and have as a keepsake of the occasion.

We also will have a photographer on hand, my son, so you will have a lovely photograph as well. You may want to wear something special or perhaps bring your own ketubah or other item to make your chuppa experience memorable.

This event will take place as your “extended family” joins you in your joyful occasion while worshiping the Elohim of Israel.

Come prepared for a glorious night of rededication. Come prepared to be prepared.

We look forward to our time together.

Blessings to your home,
Scott Diffenderfer
