Our Northeast Outreach Conference was wonderful.  Congregation Lev Y’shua, our hosts, did a marvelous job bringing all of the details together and provided on site support.  From baking pastries and homemade breads for all to setting up the sound system these folks were a true example of servanthood.

There was a family feel to this event as the MIA ventured into Pennsylvania for the first time.  It seems as though we brought refreshment and encouragement to the area – and received the same in return.  From the feedback we received, it is clear that all who participated were blessed by the event.  It was indeed wonderful to gather new family members and reconnect with some who had been with us for many years.

Special thanks go out to Lenny and Varda Harris who provided their wonderful music and our teachers, Chester Anderson, Daniel Botkin, Rebecca Totillo, and Angus and Batya Wootten.  We also had local teachers participate in the Shabbat service and we offer thanks to those gentlemen as well – David Dombek, Randy Young, and Alex Jay.   Mark and Amy Friggo did an awesome job running the sound system and the local coordinator, Jack Hughes along with Daniel Calderon, did a masterful job bringing it all together.

One of the blessings was that we were able to plant the seed for new congregations in Long Island, NY and Toronto, Canada.  At the same time, the folks in central Pennsylvania were encouraged to come together more often for mutual blessing.  I am certain that we will see the seeds come to life in the coming months.

There was a wonderful sense of joy in the room.  Many folks had been alone for too long and were thirsty for fellowship.  We were able to connect several people who thought they were “the only ones” in their town who had a heart for all of Israel.  Angus and Batya had a blast watching the seed of their books and life work taking root in Pennsylvania.  From my seat, I enjoyed watching the walls of division come down and a fresh anointing of encouragement rise up.

We hope to be back in Pennsylvania next year and look forward to more great times with the fine folks in the Northeast.

We are currently finalizing our schedule for 2007.  If you would be interested in hosting an Outreach Conference in your area please give me a call.

Thanks again to congregational leader Dave Dombek and all at Lev Y’shua!

For the restoration of all things,
Scott Diffenderfer

PS: Here's a few photos of the event, for those of you who couldn't make the trip this year.
