Shalom Friends:

The fall feasts, beginning with Yom Teruah (the Feast of Trumpets) are upon us. While Batya will not “toot her own horn,” or boast about the work her books are doing in the earth, I think a couple of good trumpet blasts to make known the effect her feast book has had, and can continue to have, needs to be heard by as many people as possible. To help make these blasts, I want to share excerpts from a few letters we have received about Israel’s Feasts and their Fullness:

Dear Batya,

Each year at the Feasts I reread your Israel’s Feasts book for that particular Feast. I am always very blessed by the knowledge and revelation that you have. This year, while I was in Israel... I felt the Ruach HaKodesh was saying that we needed to extend an invitation to Sukkot to many of those who had left our congregation for one reason or another. As I was reading your section on Yom Teruah, it greatly confirmed what I had heard [in the Spirit]. "it is time for Israel to "Move on beyond her ancient divisions... to true unity with our brethren."

I was profoundly moved once again by what the Spirit had given to you. I want to thank-you again for your obedience to the Father and your courage throughout the years to bring Torah Truth to a wandering and wayward Israel. We, for one, tell everyone that this is THE best book on the feasts. And is required reading for our congregation. In our little congregation, we are seeing fruit from your teaching. Bit by bit, Israel is returning to the Father's foundational truths...

I agree with the author of this letter, who, along with her husband, has a Messianic Bookstore and congregation. Her observation and experience have been confirmed by others, because Batya does, in my opinion, offer the best book about celebrating the feasts. It is the best because it especially addresses how the feasts relate to the restoration of both the houses of Israel.

There is not another book like it on the market! Since we do not have a physical temple or tabernacle, a Levitical priesthood, and an animal sacrificial system, we cannot celebrate the feasts in the manner described in Scripture. All the other books would have you following Jewish, Christian, or a combination of traditions. Batya suggests observances of the feasts that include an understanding of the restoration of the whole house of Israel, and her suggestions are all firmly based on Biblical principles.

Israel’s Feasts and their Fullness is truly a unique book that you will find yourself referring to time and time again.

A few of the other letters we have received are:

Your books will be going to Portugal in a couple of weeks, with an Israeli Messianic leader who is deeply into Torah and has a real revelation on the House of Israel...

And,

I have been sharing my Messianic Israel walk with a friend who is a new believer. Since she knows little of the Scriptures and has been “unchurched” she is so open to the truth... As my friend and I read sections about Passover from Israel's Feasts and their Fullness, I could see her eyes being opened. She told me later that she had prayed, on the way to my house, that the LORD would open her eyes to the truth. She said she was so blessed in all that she had learned. Hallelujah

And,

Sometimes when I am reading your books I think, “She seems so normal.”

Your books are such food for my soul, Israel’s Feasts is one of a kind.

Another letter is about books that are being ordered for a Jerusalem bookstore:

Just want to pass on to you some good news about your books. I got a call yesterday from the bookstore... and they wanted to order more of your Feast book.

You need to have this excellent reference book on your shelf. Your understanding of Israel’s feast is incomplete without it.

I know I am biased when it comes to my wife, but I think I am objective when it comes to this book.

It is the best feast book on the market and if you do not have a copy you need to order one today! Also, bless your friend with copies for them. (See her books at www.messianicisrael.com/Store/Books/feasts.html).
