![]() Coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, were three unclean spirits like frogs; They are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty (Revelation 16:13-14). The World is at War, And Judeao/Christianity as we have known it is in the process of being replaced. What will replace it? Will its replacement be the restored kingdom of Israel? Or, is our generation, like others before us, doomed to reap the reward of its lack of faithfulness in the promises of The Holy One of Israel? Do we continue in bitter exile, lost among the nations and lost to our identity? To be the restored kingdom of Israel, we need not a Joshua and Caleb, but a Joshua and Caleb people. It will be a tremendous task to raise up people who know who they are, and have the faith of Joshua and Caleb, The challenge is magnified by the need for the numbers that will make an impact on the world and will be sufficient to fulfill the promises of fruitfulness made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Magnitude of Our ChallengeAt the beginning of this year Key of David Publishing entered into a distribution agreement with Ingram Books. They own Spring Arbor the largest Christian book distributors. In talking with several of their executives, relative to an advertizing campaign (which is still awaiting funding), one of the executives commented that we were their first “Jewish” publisher. I was quick to answer that we were not Jewish, but Messianic. I asked if they were aware of the Messianic Israel movement? They answered, “No.” I asked if they were aware of the Messianic Jewish movement? They answered, “No.” I was stunned! What world were they living in, not to be aware of the life changing revelations that had been sweeping the Messianic world over the past thirty years? Then, I realized that a far better question was, “What world was I living in to think that the bickering Messianic movement was at this point in time in any position to influence the world at large?” If we are to change our image, we need to define our movement on the positive basis of “who we are” and “what we believe.” Rather than portraying the negative image that prevails among those who have, and would have us define ourselves by “whom we are not,” “what we are against,” and “what we do not believe.” If we are to enjoy success it will be with a positive, hopeful message, not with one of doom and gloom. Quite naturally, I firmly believe that the best way to carry out our challenge is by being active and well-equipped allies of the Messianic Israel Alliance. Allies, who are using Key of David books and materials to help them educate the lost sheep of Israel that our Father would gather in our generation. Understanding the Threat We FaceWe need to admit that we are at war and recognize whom we are fighting. We must fully appreciate the deadly ser i ousness of HaSatan’s present threat to Judeao/Christianity. He may disguise his demonic frogs of Islam, Secularism and Division to appear as princes, but they remain demons. HaSatan’s main thrust appears to be radical Islam. But this is deceiving, Secularism and Division play crucial roles, for they will be cornerstones in the humanistic last days’ apostate church. Currently they are being used to keep the Western World from dealing in the most effective way with the radical Muslims, who during the period from 1979 to 2001, carried out 7,581 terrorist attacks worldwide. Who were the attackers? In each of the above cases the attacks were carried out by Muslims males between the ages of 17 and 44. Is our enemy the Muslim religion as a whole, or just the radicals? The answer to this question is the same answer to the question, “Was our enemy in World War II, the German Christians, or the Nazis?” The predominately Christian population of Germany was peaceful, but under the dictatorial leadership of Hitler you either went along with his administration are you were eliminated. There were five to six million Christians killed by the Nazis for political reasons, together with six million Jews. Although Hitler kept the world focused on the Jews, he had no hesitancy about killing anyone who got in his way of exterminating the Jews, or of taking over the world—German, Christian, or any others. The same is true of the Muslim terrorists. They attempt to focus the world on the US, who they portray as the Great Satan. But they too exterminate all who get in their way: Their own people, the Israelis, the Spanish, French, British, or anyone else who stands in their way. We need to understand that just like the peaceful Germans were of no protection to anyone from the Nazis, no matter how many peaceful Muslims there may be, with their present attitude, they are no protection for us from the terrorist Muslim who are fanatically bent on killing all "infidels." Radical Muslims know what is riding on this war, and they are committed to winning, at any cost. Likewise, we too must be dedicated to winning at any cost. Are We Winning?Unfortunately the answer is No! First, we are losing the battle of the womb. The percentage of Christians in the world peaked at about 30% in the 1980s, leveled off, is now declining, and will compose about 25% of the world's population by 2025. The proportion of Muslims in the world continue to increase dramatically. They amounted to 20 percent of the world's population in 2000, and it estimated that they will surpass the number of Christians and compose 30 percent of the world's population by 2025. Even worse than numbers is the claim of many Muslims and non-Muslim observers who contend that today there are more practicing Muslims than practicing Christians in the world. Secondly, we are accepting Secular encouragement to defeat ourselves by our refusal to recognize the enemy and their purpose. We are not waging a creditable war effort against them. For example, even though we know that terrorist attacks are carried out by Muslim males between the ages of 17-44 we will not profile them. So we expend our energies screening eighty year old blonde, blue-eyed Caucasian women. Would we have had the recent London bombings if all Muslim men between the ages of 17 and 44 in Great Britain had been placed in internment camps? Such action may well have averted the bombings. Also, it may have caused the Muslims to rise up against the terrorists in their midst, which they are not doing now because there is no incentive for them to do so. If putting Muslims in internment camps gives you a problem, then the Secularists have gotten to you. And you would have had a hard time fighting along side Joshua and Caleb as they carried out their orders to wipe out the occupants of the land. Also, you might side with my liberal neighbor who is upset that I am wiping out every fire ant nest on my property. He feels that it is a form of racial profiling. After all, the vast majority of fire ants have not bitten a human, and probably never will. However, the only way I can be sure that no fire ant bits me in my yard is to be sure that there are not any fire ants in my yard. In the same manner if there are no male Muslims between the ages 0f 17 and 44, free to roam the streets of London, then the likelihood of an attack in London by Muslim terrorists would be minimal. Division also Plays a Key Role“United, we stand, divided we fall,” is a military maxim that has been proven in war after war. We are bitterly divided. The real war in the United States is not with Muslim terrorists. According to the Democrats the Republicans are the enemy. On the other hand, the Republicans see their enemy as the Democrats. But the division is far greater than just between Democrats and Republicans. One of HaSatan’s most effective weapons is to divide and conquer and his main focus is on the non secular world. There, he has enjoyed great success. According to a World Christian Encyclopedia Article, A Comparative Survey of Churches and Religions, there are 19 major world religions which are subdivided into a total of 270 large religious groups, and many smaller ones. Christianity leads the way in division with 34,000 separate Christian denominations, ministries, groups, independent churches, etc. Whatever happened to Yeshua’s prayer, “that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John17:21). However, the greatest global obstacle to overcome may prove to be the trend toward secularism as the replacement for traditional religion. The Case for Secularism(Please note the following is the case that the secularists are presenting to the world. I recognize its effectiveness, but do not endorse it!) Historically, religion has always been associated with government and politics. The interconnection between religion and government is inevitable because in varying degrees the primary purposes of both institutions are involved in regulating social behavior. In reality, traditional religion has been less influential during the past half century. Modern governments, especially in the developed world, have been profoundly influenced by ideas which emphasize the importance of the common man and a sharing of the world's resources. These thoughts continue to shape modern society in a variety of ways. The emerging status of women, is one prominent example. In addition, technology has radically altered the nature of life and work. Traditional religious systems, which tend to promise a reward in the next life to compensate for the limited potential and hardships of life in this world, appear to have gradually become less relevant. The Trend Toward SecularismFrom a global perspective, the trend toward secularism continues. Half of the people who have ever lived on this planet are alive today. And, HaSatan has created a “Now generation,” that ignores the past because it allows them to ignore the future and concentrate on living the “good life” now. Generally, the more advanced the economy, the less importance the public gives to religion. In most developed countries, only a minority of adults attend church regularly. ![]() While this trend toward Secularism seems to be truer today of Christianity than Islam, there is every reason to believe that religion will become less a factor among Muslims as economic development accelerates in Muslim countries. The Secular world sees the world's religions as similar in the sense that they all provide their believers with a spiritual life purpose. Religions generally include a concept of a life after death. The nature of after life will be governed by the believer's adherence to religious dictates in the current life. These "life rules" are remarkably consistent in various religions and usually reinforce the prevailing cultural/social expectations regarding personal behavior. Most prominent is an emphasis on marriage, and family, and the individual's adherence to the family duties and responsibilities. Will Secularism Bring a New World Order? Will the modern secular trend destroy the world's social and spiritual order? While this is a passionate fear of many clerics and believers worldwide, the answer appears to be “no.” (The “no” answer is Secular opinion. In the natural it may appear correct, but in the Spiritual it is a lie). The Secularists believe that there are indications that secularism promises a more unified and advanced social order. They point out that while religious beliefs generally promote positive personal behaviors which can lead to a sound social morality, the relationship between religious adherence and responsible social behavior is not statistically clear. For example, American Protestants are more likely to divorce than are American atheists or agnostics. Studies of U.S. prison populations reveal that virtually all prisoners profess to believe in God. The Secularists believe that there are aspects to organized religions that are unquestionably destructive to a peaceful and improved social order. They see the problem being that the fundamentalist sects of Christianity and Islam incorporate a "my way or the highway" belief system accompanied by very competitive evangelism. The result can be an intolerance that severely impairs rational efforts at compromise and instead creates social division and sometimes even violence. The radicals involved in Islamic terrorism are religiously motivated. Likewise there have been acts of domestic religious terrorism directed at doctors who perform abortions, although these acts are very extreme and condemned by all Christian religions. The conflict is not just between the major religions, but it often is between sects of the same religion. The ongoing conflict between Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland and between Shiite and Sunni Muslims in Iraq are but two examples. This is not to suggest that all churches promote this attitude. Particularly in the past 50 years, most churches (those that will make up the Apostate church, having a form of godliness but denying its power, 2Timothy 3:5) have developed a more ecumenical outlook which encourages religious tolerance toward the belief systems of others. Are Messianic Relievers Radicals? From a secular point of view it makes sense to let the radical Muslims and radical Christians do away with each other. Make no mistake. Messianic Believers who would restore the Kingdom to Israel are seen by the Secularists as radicals! Again the Secularists see the current religious political activism in the US as the work of the radical Christian right, and hold them responsible for producing deep divisions in the American electorate. For they see the “radicals” vigorously supporting a "pro-life" and anti-gay agenda to the exclusion of other serious governmental concerns, which causes many other Americans discomfort. The Secularists also claim that the rise in secularism is not necessarily associated with anti-spirituality. Modern spiritual and religious thought places great emphasis on matters such as environmental protection, an end to all armed conflicts, and worldwide social, racial and economic justice. These ideas are promoted by many churches (again the apostate churches), who work tirelessly alongside many nonreligious individuals who share these goals. An analysis of official church web sites reveals a widespread concern for such issues (again the apostate churches), but not among fundamentalist churches. Most politically active "liberals" or "progressives" are in agreement with much of the personal moral code prescribed by all religions. But they have additional spiritual issues which are not addressed by and which are in some ways opposed by what they see as Christian radicals. To the extent that political efforts are viewed as vehicles for the advancement of the human condition, they are viewed by secularist as spiritual undertakings even when they are not directly associated with religion. Also, secularist believe there is no indication that Europeans are less interested in such matters in the wake of the significant rise in secularism there. 10 Nor is there any indication that European secularism has led to a rise in antisocial behaviors. On the contrary, European political activists are comparatively prominent in pro-environmental and antiwar causes. Although many might argue that a world with less religion would be a world that is less spiritual, the Secularist claim the evidence to date does not support such a conclusion. HaSatan is CunningThis case study of Secularism has given you a brief look at HaSatan’s order of battle, and the insight to see that the Secularist, and Dividers, who are using the willing Muslim terrorist, are the real enemy of the people of Israel—both houses, Ephraim and Judah. Their main agenda at this time is to insure that radical Islam weakens the resolve of the United States and Israel. The primary bastions defending the right of believing Judeao/Christianity to accomplish its God given mission to regather the lost sheep of the whole house of Israel and restore them to their own soil (Jeremiah 23:1-8). What Can We Do?Pray! Pray not for good seats in the stadium when Yeshua returns to take on HaSatan and his henchmen. Rather, pray that you can get out on the playing field and have a part in HaSatan’s defeat. To become a Joshua and Caleb people, we need to be participants, not spectators. We are now engaged in the battle between Isaac and Ishmael, for the promises the Holy One of Israel made to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Unfortunately, the forces of Ishmael, led by HaSatan, appear to be well in the lead in the area of numbers. They claim to be numbered as the stars of heaven, the sand by the seashore, and the dust of the earth. Their contention is that 1.2 billion Muslims are the seed of Abraham through Ishmael, and that they overwhelm Isaac’s claim by some 99.98%. And, the fact is that Isaac can only offer 14 million Jews, plus a modest number of Messianic Believers, as evidence that the promise went to them. The Promised Land encompasses the area from the River of Egypt, to the Great River Euprahtes, and from the Arabah, to the Sea. That Land is presently possessed by Ishmael, with the exception of a small strip on the coast that is currently held by Isaac. But even that small strip is being whittled away. Of the 240 million people who today occupy this land, more than 230 million are Muslims. To turn the tide in this battle we need greater numbers, more Israelites, perhaps as many as 600 hundred million. Interestingly, this number would be a tithe of the earth’s present population, and there are some two billion Christians sitting in the stands—acting as onlookers to the events that are unfolding concerning Israel. Our challenge is, how do we get sufficient numbers out of this group of spectators to help us win the numbers battle. These people are behaving as spectators in that they are waiting either for the rapture, an antichrist, or for our God to accomplish everything needed to fulfill His endtime prophecies. To meet our challenge, we must convince them that they are players and not spectators. To accomplish this, we need to help them understand their true heritage and purpose. They need to realize that they are part of the people of Israel, and that their earthly purpose is to help restore the Kingdom to Israel. They are, for the most part Ephraim, the other house of Israel, those who were scattered in every nation, tribe, tongue, and kindred. But now, at the end of the age, Ephraim is being restored. They will, as the redeemed of Yahveh, not only return to their land, but they will return as mighty men (Zechariah 10:7). An excellent daily prayer is, "Father, what can I do today to help prepare the way for the restoration of Your Kingdom here on earth?" If you pray this prayer daily, you will not want for work! Our Father will have you actively preparing the way for the world to come, by walking, talking and telling the truth. You will be walking with, and talking to the lost sheep of Israel regarding their heritage and purpose. You will be telling them the truth that, that the eternal rewards of His Kingdom far outweigh the momentary pleasures offered by HaSatan’s kingdoms of this world. An excellent way of getting this truth out is by putting Key of David books and DVDs in the hands of lost sheep. One good example of the effectiveness of books, as weapons of our warfare, are Messianic Believers who are on the playing field, and are adding to the numbers of those who understand their heritage and purpose. They are accomplishing this feat by giving out copies of the book Ephraim and Judah, Israel Revealed, Further, they are encouraging those to whom they give books to duplicate their efforts. Unfortunately, this book, and other books that are in the warehouse, and the new books that are in the process of being published, are like spectators in the stand. While they may be effective word weapons, they are not going to have any impact on the outcome of the battle, until we can get them out onto the playing field! Whom will the Father use you to get books published, and out of His storehouse and into the hands of His lost sheep? Be assured that it will be the players and not the spectators. May your daily prayer be: “Father, what can I do today to help prepare the way for the restoration of Your Kingdom here on earth?” |
