"We have patrolled the earth and behold today, all the earth is rumbling with wars and rumors of war."

Ephraim is being given some incredible opportunities to fulfill his destiny as we enter the final phases of this age. Our challenge is, will we be prepared to answer the whistle that calls Mighty Man Ephraim to return to home (Zec 10:7-10)? An indicator of our preparedness will be our capability to take advantage of opportunities, such as those listed below, as they become available:

  • Attending college in Israel, and taking courses especially designed to meet the needs of Ephraimites.
  • Having young men and women, ages 18-23, train at a Military Academy in the Galilee for service in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
  • Purchase land in Israel
  • Having Ephraimite families settle in Israel.

The trigger that is opening doors of opportunity for Ephraim, and is igniting favorable responses from our brother Judah is the recent announcement by the Messianic Israel Alliance (MIA) to form a Provisional Israelite Council in Exile at their annual Convention, which will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, this August. For more information see the attached Press Release.

One of those favorable responses was our recent meeting with Sagiv Assulin, who had come at the insistence of Ephraim Frank to hear Batya and I speak at a late January meeting sponsored by Gates of Zion Ministries in Columbia SC. Sagiv is a member of the Likud party, and he works with Israeli Knesset leaders on key issues. He is the Knesset Leader of the Young (those under age thirty), and he served two terms as the head of the student body in Israel (250,000 university students). We had several very interesting conversations with Sagiv, and we have established an ongoing working relationship with him. One remark he made to me really struck home, “We have six million Jews in Israel, and some six million Jews in the rest of the world. We don’t have enough Jews!”

They don’t have enough Jews to possess the West Bank! And it was a lack of Jews that caused them to give back the Sinai and withdraw from Gaza.

Sagiv was describing the same problem that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob faced, they didn’t have the numbers to take possession of the Land that the God of Israel had given them. Therefore, they were limited to being aliens in the land of promise (Heb 11:9-10).

What are the Jews to do?

Sagiv is speaking for a new generation of Jews, who no longer define friends and enemies on theological lines. They see their enemies as those that are trying to destroy them, and their friends are those that are trying to help them. They are looking to “Bnei Efraim" (B’nai Ephraim, or Sons of Ephraim) as Sagiv calls us, for the numbers to enable the people of Israel to possess the land. Or, to enable them, at the very least, to keep the entire city of Jerusalem and the settlements that they now have on the West Bank.

Sagiv is not alone in looking to Ephraim to join with them. I have been in touch with several members of the Sanhedrin and the New Jewish Congress who join Sagiv in his expectations that Ephraim will prove to be a great help to the Jews.

Sagiv and like-minded Jews, realize that the Messianic Israel movement does not have the needed numbers at this time to fulfill the prophecies regarding Ephraim once again being a Mighty Man, becoming “one stick” with Judah, and returning to, and filling the land until there is no more room (Eze 37:15-28; Zec 10:7-10). But they believe that the present “Believers,” who today see themselves as B’nai Ephraim, being in some manner part of Ephraim and his companions, are forerunners of the lost sheep whom the God of Israel is calling primarily out of the two and half billion people in the world labeled Christians. These representatives of Judah anticipate that these called-out forerunners will be used to continue the ingathering of B’nai Ephraim.

For the forerunners of B’nai Ephraim to fulfill the hopes of their brother Judah and the expectations of the God of Israel, who opened their eyes to their heritage and destiny, they must gather other lost sheep into an understanding of their heritage and destiny as part of the people of Israel.

The ingathering of the lost sheep is a mammoth task which will be accomplished for the most part one on one. One forerunner plus one lost sheep will equal two forerunners. One way for forerunners to accomplish this multiplication would be to repeated the scenario, or circumstances, that led them to an understanding of their heritage and destiny as part of the people of Israel. Another effective way is outlined by Scott Diffenderfer in a recent article in his local newspaper, "Merging The lines between Judaism and Christianity," by J. R. Lind, a staff writer for The Lebanon Democrat newspaper in Lebanon, Tennessee:

Christians are awakening. When I [Scott] moved to the Nashville area twelve years ago there were three or four Seder dinners [The traditional Passover celebration] being celebrated by local Churches. Now there are over a hundred area Churches observing Passover, studying Hebrew and learning about the appointed Feasts of Israel. And I am regularly contacted by Christian leaders who want to know more about First Century traditions.

The point that Scott is making is that one of the most effective ways to reach lost sheep is through encouraging an interest that exists among many Christians in Israel’s feasts. And it is no coincidence that Batya recently competed a year-long revision and expansion of her book Israel’s Feasts and their Fullness. On February 5, 2008, Super Tuesday in more ways than one, ten thousand copies of Israel’s Feasts and their Fullness - Expanded Edition, rolled off the press at our printer in St. Louis.

The Messianic Israel Alliance is changing the world. The establishment of the MIA in the late nineties, and the success of its first national conference in Orlando in 1999, was fueled by the distribution of ten thousand copies of Batya’s book, Who Is Israel? And Why You Need to Know, in 1998. This extraordinary feat was accomplished by people buying ten copies of the book, passing them out to relatives and friends, and encouraging them to follow their example and pass out ten copies of the book.

The establishment and success of a Provisional Israelite Council in Exile at the annual MIA Convention, in St. Louis this August, will depend greatly on the numbers. This is a people movement, and it is going to take a lot of Israelites to give the God of Israel a people for His own possession. The distribution of ten thousand copies of Who Is Israel? And Why You Need to Know, resulted in the establishment of the MIA. The distribution of ten thousand copies, of Israel’s Feasts and their Fullness - Expanded Edition, may prove to be the catalyst which provides the numbers for the successful launching of a Provisional Israelite Council in Exile at the annual MIA Convention, in St. Louis this August.

Interestingly, the ten thousand books are sitting at our printer’s warehouse in St Louis waiting for the forerunners of Ephraim to distribute them to fill the 2000 seats at the Millennium Hotel in St Louis, in the early years of the seventh millennium.

If you see yourself as a forerunner and this speaks to you, please stand with us and help distribute these books. You may order them Online at the Messianic Marketplace. Phone 800-829-8777. We are in the final phases of this age, all peoples are going to be affected by the coming events in Israel. We know that the people who do not serve and support Israel shall perish and come to utter ruin (Isa. 60:12). Therefore, may each of us follow in the footsteps of Joshua, the first Ephraimite forerunner, who led the people of the first exodus back into the Promised Land. May we be used to help lead an end time harvest of Believing Israelites back to their own soil (Jos 24:15; Jer 23:1-8).
