America and the world have been stunned by the attacks of radical Islamic terrorists. It is a time to mourn for those who died, and for those who have lost loved ones. Yet, let us with unshakable faith and determination resolve that the death, devastation and ongoing sorrow and grief resulting from these insidious attacks will not have been in vain!

We are destroyed for the lack of knowledge. Therefore, if we are to accomplish this noble goal of reaping good from apparent evil we must first understand why the attacks were made by our enemies, and why our God allowed them. With these answers we will be in a much better position to know what to do and what not to do.

First let us take a look at haSatan’s, our real enemy, Order of Battle, and at his goal and purposes. HaSatan sin was that he wanted to be like Yahveh. So it should come as no surprise that his battle plan would be a mirror image of Yahveh’s plan to establish His Kingdom on earth, a kingdom in which Yahveh will dwell with His people, the “children of light.” HaSatan’s goal, he being the great counterfeiter, wants to establish a counterfeit kingdom, a kingdom in which he would dwell with his people, the “children of darkness.” Fortunately, haSatan’s eternal kingdom will be in hell, and not on earth! But for now he is attempting to establish it on earth.

Like Yahveh, the counterfeiter must gather a people with the dedication and resolve to accomplish his purposes, among which is to have his people occupy and control the land promised to the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it is primarily from Islam, the seed of Ishmael, that he plans to draw his army of radicals.

To unify his army haSatan needs an enemy, and the enemy he has chosen for radical Islam is the “Great Satan,” supposedly personified in the United States, the representative of Christendom and a supporter of the Jewish state of Israel.

Step one for haSatan is to incite this enemy to attack his people, for attacks on Islam will solidify radical Islam’s control over a greater and greater number of the followers of Allah. Thus building the armies of the anti-messiah, who in turn will fulfill his end time mission. Will haSatan’s plan work? We have seen it working very well in the past year, as Judah, in reaction to its Wake Up Call last September, has been striking back at attacks perpetuated by radical Islam. These attacks have only strengthened and united the enemies of the Jewish state.

On the flip side haSatan is serving Yahveh’s purposes, because he is serving to unite the armies of Israel. Radical Islam’s terrorist attacks on the Jewish State have served not only to unite Judah, but they are also uniting non Jewish Israelites, Ephraim. Quite naturally radical Islamic attacks on New York and Washington will only serve to further unite Ephraim.

This battle between light and darkness has been raging for six thousand years, yet, events in the last century, when viewed in the light of Yahveh’s Scriptural battle plan, indicate that we are in the final phases of this struggle between good and evil.

For example, the attack on New York, while not the fulfillment of Chapter 18 of Revelation, is surely a harbinger, or pointer to many events described in that Chapter. The destruction of the World Trade Center in virtually one hour, sent the financial markets of the world reeling. The merchants mourned that America was no longer the ultimate safe haven for their investments. TV and the Internet made it possible for the smoke billowing above New York to be seen around the world.

This is not the final destruction of Babylon. For today, people are still buying and selling. But it points to the day when the great city and its worldwide financial system, will be completely destroyed. “Babylon,” may very well be New York, or perhaps it is a collection of the financial capitals of the world.

The salient point for Yahveh’s people, the people of all Israel, to understand is the instructions given to them in this key chapter, “Come out of her, My people, that you may not participate in her sins and that you may not receive of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4).

Come out of what? And go where?

As Yahveh gathers His remnant He is gathering His people who, while in this world, are not of it. So the call to them is to come out of man’s worldly system, with it worldly mind set, its humanism, hedonistical sensuality, and false religions. In other words, His people need to get Babylon out of our hearts. If not, then anywhere they go, they take Babylon with them.

It is only when there are forerunners from among Yahveh’s people, who have separated themselves from the children of darkness, that Yahveh can get serious about the physical gathering of His remnant and returning them to their own soil (Jeremiah 23:1-8). These forerunners will have been have been granted an understanding of the mysteries of the Kingdom, they will have the faith, resolve, and dedication to serve as arrows of Ephraim and bows of Judah.

They will need to match in faith and courage, in furthering the purposes of the God if Israel, the faith and courage of those misguided terrorists who are giving their lives to further the purposes of the false god of Islam!

What is America called to do? While all Americans will not answer this wake up call, many will. The call in Revelation Chapter 18 is for Yahveh’s people to come out. In Chapter 19 the Messiah’s armies in heaven are preparing to join with His armies on earth for the final victorious battle.

What part do Messianic Israelites and the Messianic Israel Alliance have to play in accomplishing Yahveh’s Messianic Vision?

Those of Messianic Israel have vital roles to play, for they are the forerunners of Yahveh’s army, and from among their ranks will come the shepherds who will gather His remnant.

At AMI 2001, the annual conference of the Messianic Israel Alliance, which ended just days before the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, great emphases was placed on the threat of radical Islam. In his closing remarks on Sunday evening, Angus Wootten likened the situation in America today to a boater sailing on the calm waters of the Niagara River, from Lake Erie to Lake Ontario.

If the sailor ignores the clouds of vapor rising from Niagara Falls, and does not heed the warnings of the thunder emitted by the cascading waters, he may well go over the falls to destruction. Because, by the time he enters the churning waters he is within five-hundred yards of the falls, and it is too late to avert disaster.

Likewise, if we in America continue to ignore the war clouds and thunder in the Middle East, we are heading for disaster. It took eight days for this prophecy to be fulfilled by terrorist attacks on New York and Washington.

Hopefully, America will now heed the clouds and thunder in New York and Washington.

Following this prophecy, Angus, on behalf of the Messianic Israel Alliance gave a report to the Father, basically saying, “Father we know that You and the Cloud of Witnesses are looking down on this gathering tonight and shouting, ‘After a hundred generations they are finally getting it together!’ Yes, Father we are ready!

“Father, as You know, we have here tonight, a thousand Messianic Israelites forerunners, who are each representative of many other forerunners, and together they represent the van guard of Your army. And, on their behalf I can report to You, the Commander of the Armies of Israel that they are ready. Yes! They are ready.”

Did this report have anything to do with the events that took place eight days later? We really cannot know, but if they did, was the Father response to the report given Him, “My forerunners are ready, release the horses of war!”

Whatever the trigger, the four horses of the apocalypse may very well have begun their fateful rides. The vanguard of Messianic Israel needs not only to be ready, but to move out on its current mission to identify Israelites, mission orient them, and train them to be Israelites.

Let Messianic Israel not only say we are ready! May Messianic Israel realize the job they have to do, and move out and accomplish their assigned mission.
