Our Messianic Boot Camp will take place from Monday, July 26, through Thursday, July 29. This highly intensive program will offer training from the Messianic movement’s preeminent teachers. To educate and equip the Father’s people, we will be offering five primary courses of study, five secondary courses, and a wide variety of elective classes. Each student will be able to enroll in one primary course and one secondary course and participate in general sessions and the elective classes of their choice.

Primary Courses

Each of our primary courses will contain more than 20 hours of lectures, workshops, discussions, and topical studies. The courses will consist of the following:

  • Prophecy: “The End From the Beginning”
    • Leader: Bill Cloud, Shoreshim Ministries
    • Instructors: Bill Cloud, Hale Harris, Batya Wootten
    • Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. (Isaiah 46:9-10)

Consider an apple seed. Contained within that seed are roots, a trunk, branches, foliage and, eventually, fruit. Yet, some would insist that it is nothing more than a simple apple seed. Likewise, many view the book of Genesis (B’reshiyt) as nothing more than a historical record of the world’s beginning. This course, however, intends to show that, like the apple seed, B’reshiyt is more than just the ordinal beginning of the Bible; it is the basic prerequisite for understanding every other book of the Bible. Throughout this course we will demonstrate how this principle – the end revealed from the beginning – is foundational when it comes to understanding biblical prophecy.

We will discuss such topics as:

      • Things concealed and things revealed
      • Wheat and Tares in the beginning
      • Third Day principle
      • The Sons of God
      • Enmity Between the Seeds
      • Along with a few interesting Hebrew language nuggets.
      • “One New Man”
      • Redeemed Israel

  • Worship: “Tabernacle of Praise”
    • Leader: Dr. John Conrad, The Messianic Israel Alliance
    • Instructors: Daniel & Sylvia Calderon, John & Joie Conrad, Ben Davis, Jane Diffenderfer, Steve & Tawnie Manning, Jordon Rubel, Lisa Rubel
    • The central element of our walk is worship. It is the place where all doctrines, cultures, and lifestyles meet the Father. Worship brings unity and life to the Body. Whether expressed in dance, music, banner, flags, drama or other performing arts, our worship is where we can truly be one today.

This multifaceted course will feature some of Messianic Israel’s most gifted worship leaders who will lend their talents to those who hunger for more meaningful praise and worship. From painting silks to tambourines this course of study will have something for everyone. There will be congregational and presentation dance classes along with garmenting tips, choreography instruction, music selection, new music classes. Banner creation and presentation will be part of this exciting course as well.

Those participating in this course will be part of at least two presentations during the Celebration. You will learn how a presentation dance comes together from the inception through the actual presentation and you will be part of it! All aspects of praise and worship, including the important Biblical instructions for this area of study, will be included. This will be a place where musicians, writers, choreographers, and artists unite for His glory.

  • Family: “The Messianic Home”
    • Leader: Scott Diffenderfer, The Messianic Israel Alliance
    • Instructors: Scott & Jane Diffenderfer, Ed & Chavah Harris, Batya Wootten
    • At the heart of re-gathered Israel is the family. The nation is a sum of it’s parts, so a strong nation is comprised of strong families. The family is under attack at this hour from various points of darkness. At the same time, families are in transition from a Greco-Roman to Hebraic lifestyle. While the transition is exciting, it is also fraught with potential hazards and at least 1000 questions.

The Messianic Home course of study will involve topics on lifestyle issues, feast celebration suggestions, raising righteous teens, betrothal and courtship, homeschooling tips, imparting to grandchildren, and the importance of a peaceful home. This will be a very practical course that will assist you in applying the knowledge you are gaining into your everyday life and perhaps more importantly, how to teach these eternal truths to your children in an effective manner. There will also be separate classes for husbands and wives that will be impactful.

Our homes are to be the center of our ministry; centers of light. Messianic Home will equip families of all sizes, experience, and age to truly let their light shine. You will learn practical applications for the Hebraic halacha (way to walk). The Torah is life and this course will focus on allowing the Torah life to be a blessing for generations.

  • Hebrew Roots: “Aliyah”
    • Leader: Daniel Botkin, Gates of Eden
    • Instructors: Daniel Botkin, Boaz & Rina Dreyer, Frank Houtz
    • The Hebrew Roots Course will focus on two areas:
      I. Content of the Tenach (Old Testament)
      II. Linguistics of the Tenach

      I. CONTENT OF THE TENACH
A holistic overview of the Tenach. A bird's-eye view of the entire Old Testament, with a general summary of the content and significance of each book. Many Bible students ignore context (both immediate context and over-all context of the entire Bible), and use "proof texts" to allegedly "prove" erroneous conclusions. They often can't see the forest for the trees. Therefore we will be looking at the entire forest, so that the individual "trees" (books, chapters, verses) can be seen in the context of the entire forest.

      II. LINGUISTICS OF THE TENACH

      A. Interpretation of Scriptures From a Hebraic Perspective.
A look at various linguistic devices used in the Bible: idioms, metaphors, parallelisms, plays on words, etc. How to let the Bible define its own terms so that the Bible student can correctly understand the correct meaning of the text. Different levels of legitimate interpretation and understanding of the text. How to identify and eliminate any "Trojan Horses" in your theology.

      B. Hebrew Language
      1. The importance of learning Hebrew
      a. For Scripture study (This may overlap with II.A., Interpretation.)
      b. For renewal of the mind (So Hebraic thought patterns can supplant Greek thought patterns)
      c. For living in Israel

      2. Introduction to Hebrew
This class will include some reading and writing, but primary focus will be on conversation - short questions and answers, verb formations, grammar, sentence structure, etc. Actually conversing in Hebrew gives students a "feel" for the Hebrew language, and thereby helps Hebrew thought patterns to form in the mind. The class will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and will be extremely fast-paced. It is for students who can be punctual and pay close attention in class. It is not for students who arrive late, nor for daydreamers, nor for half-hearted wimps who easily give up.

  • Young Life: “Generation Zion” (Intended for ages 12-19)
    • Leader: Brad Scott, Wildbranch Ministries
    • Instructors: Ed Harris, Brad Scott
    • For over four hundred years now, both testaments of our Bibles have been taught from a western, linear, abstract point of view. Eastern, cyclical and concrete terms have been morphed into this perspective. Perhaps the most influential and corruptive dogma of the last 150 years has been the theory of evolution. This organic theory has pervaded every aspect of our religious and social culture.

Our next generation needs to be equipped with the ability to stand against this godless hypothesis and be fully prepared to give an answer to every man who asks the reasons for the hope that is in us. Our Creator is truly smarter than all the Darwinistic bloviators put together.

This course will provide a solid foundation for our youth to stand on; for our faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things not seen. We will cover everything from organic and theological evolution to logical answers for the village atheists.

There will also be activities for the youth to participate in led by Ed Harris & Company.

  • Childcare: “A Righteous Generation” (Intended for ages 4-11)
    • Leader: Gayla Lemons
    • Instructors: Rut Hughes, Gayla Lemons, Batya Wootten
    • Topics: Our Father Abraham, Davidic Dance, People In the Bible, Crafts, Games

Secondary Courses

In addition to a primary course, each student will devote five hours to a secondary course. The secondary courses will be:

  • Congregational Leadership - Instructors: Daniel Botkin, Scott Diffenderfer

    • Daniel Botkin and Scott Diffenderfer will team to teach and dialogue on the critical aspects of congregational leadership including:

      • The standards for leadership

      • The importance of gathering and scattering

      • Conflicts and their resolution

      • Vision and purpose

      • The practical matters of discipleship

      • Building and maintaining a congregation

    • This is an interactive course designed for those leading a home fellowship or congregation. Daniel and Scott will share from Scripture and personal experience, which is over 30 years of combined congregational leadership.

  • One New Man - Instructor: Hale Harris

    • Hale Harris, General Secretary of the MIA, explores the characteristics and role of the “One New Man.” Hale will present a historical and prophetic picture detailing the power and call found in the fulfillment of a New Covenant Believer’s life. An in depth study of the Holy Prophets, Apostolic Scriptures, and the Torah will allow the student to gain a new and powerful perspective on the sacrifice of our Messiah and his call to make disciples.

  • Redeemed Israel - Instructor: Batya Wootten

    • Batya Wooten leads this course as only Batya can! The course is divided into four parts that will inspire and equip Israelites for the journey ahead. The parts are as follows:

      • Part I — Who is Israel?: To understand and be able to help further the Father’s plan for His people, we need to see and be able to share the truth about “both the houses of Israel” (Isa 8:14).

      • Part II — Restoring Israel’s Kingdom: We are called to the Kingdom of Israel and to help in its restoration, so we need to understand its makeup and Abba’s prophetic plan for that Kingdom (Acts 1:6).

      • Part III — Israel’s Feasts in their Fullness: Israel’s Feasts teach us about Abba’s plan of salvation for His people and about the restoration of both the houses of Israel. For this reason, we need to see them in this light and learn to celebrate them in a manner that honors our Messiah and restores both houses.

      • Part IV — Israel’s Last Days Empowerment by the Ruach HaKodesh: Israel cannot get where she needs to go apart from empowerment by the Spirit, thus we need a new and true, Torah-based move of the Ruach (Zec 4:6)..

  • The Tabernacle - Instructor: John Conrad

    • The Tabernacle course will focus on the path from the outside world to the throne room. The pattern of the tabernacle and the temple is based upon a King's court in ancient times. There is an outer court, an inner court and a throne room. These correspond to the outer courtyard, the holy place and the most Holy Place where the ark resided in the Tabernacle layout.

    • The path to the throne room was progressive and sequential. There was not a short cut into the Most Holy Place. Thus each vessel and altar is significant in how it shows the work of Yeshua in bringing us back to the Father. Since the Messiah is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the Laver, Altar of sacrifice, Menorah, Altar of Incense, and Table of the Bread of the Presence all display a facet of the work and character of Yeshua. We will study each of these articles and how we celebrate their fulfillment in our lives in the New Covenant. Our purpose will be to enhance both our individual worship and our ability to lead others into the intimacy of the throne room.

  • Preparation For Life - Instructors: Scott Diffenderfer, Ed Harris (ages 20 to 30)

    • This course is specifically geared for young adults (ages 20-30) who are establishing their own path in the world. Ed Harris and Scott Diffenderfer team to present life skills in areas such as time management, interviewing, resume writing, goal attainment, while blending those with topics such as; maintaining a quality prayer life, ministry focus, family development, and congregational life.

We will demonstrate how skills applied in the secular world can benefit a Believer’s spiritual life. Being “in the world, but not of the world” has daily practical application that allows a Believer to excel in any field of work or course of study. The course will present some tangible behaviors that still allow eagles to soar.

Elective Classes

To round out their educational experience, students will have the opportunity to participate in four unique elective classes. These daily classes will cover the following topics:

  • Monday

    • Beginning Congregational Dance: Daniel and Sylvia Calderon will instruct you in the importance of worshipping through dance. This class is for those who want to learn to move with YHWH, but have been intimidated to do so. The Calderon’s will show you the basic dance steps used in congregations throughout the world.

    • History of the Messianic Movement: Angus Wootten will present a history of the Messianic movement from his unique perspective. Angus and Batya have been deeply involved with all things Messianic since the early meetings in Washington DC. They have watched it grow, multiply, divide, and grow again. Angus will share some great stories and give you a depth perception on the people and events surrounding this move of God.

    • One New Man: Hale Harris will give an overview of his perspective on the Scriptural One New Man. Hale will present a historical and prophetic picture of the fulfillment of a New Covenant Believer’s life through unleashing the power of a Torah honoring Holy Spirit fueled walk with the God of Israel.

    • The End from the Beginning: Bill Cloud will give you a fast overview of his primary course of study. He will present a balanced view of understanding prophecy and offer some practical tips for interpreting the ancient holy writings.

    • Biblical versus Rabbinic Kashrut: Boaz and Rina Dreyer will present their insights on this important topic. They will share from their many years of living in Israel and being ardent students of the Word while living amongst Rabbinic kashrut followers. This course will help you in a personal manner as you seek to live a set apart life.

  • Tuesday

    • Redeemed Israel: Batya Wootten delivers a powerful overview of a life changing Biblical truth. Batya will identify and exhort the people of Israel through Scripture, rather than man made theology. She will bring her usual swagger to this critical topic as you hear her heart and Abba’s cry for His people.

    • Betrothal and Courtship: The choice of a spouse is extremely important and emotionally charged. Scott and Jane Diffenderfer will share their personal experience in Shepherding three of their own children and many others towards this critical decision. They will combine Scriptural insights with practical experience and a few laughs as they address real life questions and issues.

    • From Yeshua to Jesus: Frank Houtz teaches about this controversial topic. We hear some Hebrew Roots teachers say the name Jesus is of pagan origin. Other Hebrew Roots teachers use it without fear. In this session we will look into both ideas, review them linguistically with scientific methodology. In doing so, we will discover the real origin of the name Jesus using a sound linguistic basis.

    • Shofars: Boaz Dreyer brings the horns from Israel and speaks to the significance and beauty of the shofar. You will learn how they are sourced, transported, and crafted into worship instruments. Boaz will talk of Jerusalem Shofars and our manufacturing facility in the Negev where for the first time Believers are making shofars in the dessert of Israel!

    • Teshuva: the Open Door: The MIA’s Director of Community Relations, Ed Harris, will give some biblical insight to the power of true repentance and its effect on the body of Messiah. Teshuva is one of the main ingredients for the restoration of the Melo Ha Goyim.

  • Wednesday

    • Heart of Worship: As the MIA’s Director of Worship, Steve Manning has led thousands of people into that special place with the Father. He possesses a strong anointing to lead people from various backgrounds into intimate worship of the God of Israel. During this class, Steve will share his perspective on worship and the importance of it in restoring Israel.

    • Life in Israel: Boaz and Rina Dreyer will talk straight about life in Israel. These forerunners have lived in the Land for over 20 years, had four children serve in the IDF and will give you a real sense of life in Israel today.

    • Spring Feasts of Israel: Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Shavuot and more will be discussed in this stimulating class with Batya Wootten. Her unique perspective on the Feasts has blessed thousands around the world. Now hear it from her first hand!

    • Profaning the Name of God: Frank Houtz leads this exciting class. Some say we profane the name of God by speaking it and making His holy name common. Others say that when one uses Lord or God in place of YHWH he profanes His name. This presentation will be a look into what it means to profane the name of God. It seems that in our intense desire to not profane His name, we may inadvertently rush in to do so. We will search the Scripture looking for what it says will profane His name and learn not to do so.

    • Let them Soar: Jane Diffenderfer presents insights on shaping and releasing Ephraim’s arrows, the children of Messianic Israel. She will share from over 20 years of homeschooling and raising nine children. Jane will give you practical instruction on training your children to be effective for His Kingdom.

    • Culture NOT Color: Ed Harris discusses one of the key points to a restored Israel. Restored Israel is to be a Kadosh or Holy people. This class will provide scripture and historical data dispelling issues of race in all forms. To all nations they were scattered and from all nations they will be gathered!

  • Thursday

    • New Music: Join Steve Manning and friends in a jam session. Executives from Abiron Records will be present to hear fresh music and give tips on how to bring that music to market. This will be a blast as artists and writers share their passion and talents – if you play an instrument bring it!

    • Fall Feasts of Israel: Batya Wootten will share her insights into the prophetic implications of the Fall Feasts. There will be special emphasis on the implications for Judah and Ephraim as all of Israel is restored. From Yom Teruah through Sukkot, Batya will feast with you!

    • Hebrew Word Pictures: Brad Scott will explore the deeper levels of the Hebrew language. He will share the complexity of Hebrew that will unlock hidden Biblical understanding. This class will inspire the student to learn more Hebrew beginning an incredible exploration for the truth of His Word.

    • Creation Gospel Foundation: Dr. Hollisa Alewine shows that the moedim are the unifying thread from Genesis to Revelation and defines a key principle of the gospel as the exhortation of Nachum: "How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who bears good news; keep your feasts, O Judah..." Foundation I is a survey of the gospel in the seven days of Creation and the seven Spirits of God through the light of the menorah.

    • Where is the Real Mount Sinai?: There is much speculation on this topic. Boaz Dreyer will offer his findings from his studies and his life in the Negev. The outcome may surprise you and you can know that it will be backed up by solid evidence from our brother who lives where our ancient ancestors dwelled.

To ensure an effective academic experience, each course will have a limited number of students. Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you would like to participate in this intensive program, please enroll as soon as possible, as all courses will fill up quickly.
